Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actor. She has also produced films, including Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. She was born into a middle-class household living in Los Angeles, she harboured huge dreams when she was a kid. Her mom was obsessed with films, and she instilled a love of films into her daughter. Paula was a part of co-curricular school activities, and she was particularly interested in the drama. She loved to play act with her classmates and took part in school's stage shows. She acted in many performances at the high school of Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and then decided to pursue acting as a career. It was an enjoyable summer at University of Southern California. She was assigned a 3 month project to create documentaries for PBS. She started as a production assist for TV documentaries after successfully completing her assignment. Following the completion of her project and completing her documentary, she began producing films. Although she enjoyed her work, she yearned for being an actor. The romantic comedies Hitch she played a tiny part with Will Smith. Since then, she has played in many famous television and film productions.
