Amy Smart was an American model as well as actress. She was born in California USA, Amy Smart began her modelling career there. Her acting career began in 1996, when she was a character in the TV film Her Costly Affair. It was a long road for her to star in Starship Troopers in a smaller role. In the beginning, it was hard for Amy switching from modeling to acting. The reason is that most models aren't good actors. In the majority of cases, they're given insignificant and small parts. Amy was never discouraged. Her first role came in The 70s followed by Varsity Blues. Amy later stepped into lead roles in 2005's love story Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds. Amy got her first recognition by the industry for her performance in the last decade. Amy continued to make major films, such as Crank alongside Jason Statham or Shameless in which she was loved as a as a recurring character.
