Amy Smart has been a model, actress, and former American. The modeling career she began with was in Italy, where she was raised and was born in California. Her first acting role was in the TV production Her Costly Affair. Her struggle to land a part in Starship Troopers, a film that featured mostly minor roles, was extremely intense. It was a difficult transition for Amy because she had transition from modelling to performing. Models aren't thought of as great actors and so tend to get smaller, insignificant roles. Amy did not give up. She made her way to bigger roles. She began in The 70s series and Varsity Blues film. Amy was then promoted to lead parts in 2005's love story Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds. Amy became famous for her efforts over the past 10 years. Amy continued to make major films, such as Crank opposite Jason Statham or Shameless in which she was a beloved as a recurring character.
